BLACKOUT – a Symphony of Light and Sound
TIP will present their new production BLACKOUT – a Symphony of Light and Sound at the music conservatory of Trossingen. BLACKOUT is a contemporary concert show for five (electric) guitarists, collectively composed and staged by TIP. A wild and rousing collage of classical guitars, metal riffs, techno beats and soundscapes with audio-reactive light, live projections and a spatial distributed performance. The Austrian video artist Fabian Schober develops in collaboration with the ensemble a digital stage set for BLACKOUT, he is part of the performance and reacts with his projections to the music. The result is a multimedia stage show which leaves genre boundaries behind and represents a contemporary interpretation of the concert format.
